I’ve written previously about shifts in the buyer’s journey and the growing role that software review websites play. Prospective buyers are increasingly going to sites such as TrustRadius, G2, Capterra, and many others as part of their pre-purchase research. Software review websites provide a flexible way to get direct user perspectives in real-time. This trend is something that traditional “analyst” organizations have also recognized, and so, they too have added review sites to their offerings. For example, Gartner has Peer Insights where prospective buyers can “Choose IT Solutions with Confidence: Reviews from Your Enterprise Peers — Verified by Gartner.” Gartner Peer Insights includes more than 215,000 verified reviews in more than 340 markets. Gartner is broadly recognized as one of the largest IT analyst firms. Their “Magic Quadrant” takes an enterprise, IT-centric view of the CPM market, which doesn’t necessarily reflect the attitudes of a mid-market Office of Finance user. As a result, Gartner Peer Insights provides a different lens on Prophix and the CPM space drawn directly from “peers” vs. a research analyst’s perspective. The Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice recognizes vendors in the market who have been verified by end-user professionals, considering both the number of reviews and the overall user ratings. To ensure fair evaluation, Gartner maintains rigorous criteria for recognizing vendors with a high customer satisfaction rate. Our team at Prophix takes great pride in this distinction, as customer feedback continues to shape our products and services. Consequently, it was rewarding to have Prophix recognized in April 2021 with Gartner Peer Insights’ annual Customers’ Choice for Cloud Financial Planning & Analysis Solutions. This distinction is particularly gratifying because it is based on feedback and ratings from end-user finance professionals who have experience purchasing, implementing, and/or using Prophix. Prophix is also now part of the Gartner Peer Insights Customer First Program. This program indicates that we are part of a select group of technology providers who have pledged to offer the opportunity for all applicable customers to provide a review. This program represents our commitment to listening to our customers. To all our customers who submitted reviews, thank you! These reviews help us continue to build solutions that delight our customers. To learn more about our 2021 Customers’ Choice distinction, or to read reviews written by finance professionals who use Prophix, please see the Cloud Financial Planning & Analysis Solutions page on Gartner Peer Insights. If you have a Prophix story to share, we encourage you to join Gartner Peer Insights and weigh in.
